The year 2025 was a period of intensive work, growth, and significant challenges for the Multicultural Center Brusinka. Our activities are long-term focused on strengthening social cohesion, supporting the integration of foreigners, and creating a safe space for education, creativity, and meaningful encounters across cultures and generations.

What if storytelling isn’t about performance, but about survival? This is a story about how writing became a way to make sense of life — and how it grew into a space where people can be heard, without pressure or judgment.

Art Between Cultures is a collaborative project created in Brno by Multicultural Center Brusinka and ARTME studio.

In October 2025, the collaboration between the Multicultural Center Brusinka and Clemens Christian Poetzsch grew into cultural project supported by the Czech-German Future Fund. Under the title "A Personal Musical Journey Connecting Czech and German Cultural Spaces," the program invited artists, students and the public to explore how music can build bridges across generations and borders.

Make Friends in Brno evenings, organized by the international community Expat Friends Brno, these informal meetups offer an easy way to meet people, practice languages and discover Brno’s friendly side.

School wellbeing is often only talked about when it is lacking. The atmosphere was truly exceptional. Throughout the evening, 13 performers took the stage, representing different regions of the world – from Uganda to Ukraine. Among them were amateur musicians, students, teachers, and friends of the center who shared their passion for music and the cultural heritage of their homelands.

The year 2024 brought the Multicultural Center Brusinka a time of growth, new projects, and deeper human connections. Our center has become a place where Czech mingles with dozens of other languages, where people learn, create, sing — and most importantly, where everyone feels welcome.
